24 young people just created lifetime memories.

For us, there is nothing better than starting off the year with youth camp. And boy, did we have a blast at this one!
In the first week of January we took 24 young people away for 2 nights and 3 days. Camp was filled with games, activities, deep conversations, incredible camp food, beach fun and so much more. Here’s a quick snapshot of camp.
Snapshot:
24 young people attended camp.
70% first timers to one of our camps.
- 13 volunteers gave up 3 days of their week.
Our wonderful Youth Pastor, Taliah, has shared her thoughts on youth camp and the value of the camp experience below.

Youth Camp 2025.
It is well known there is something different about camps.
It’s why schools invested in camps for so long, why companies invest in team bonding retreats and experiences, and why sporting clubs hold training camps.
It is why we put so much of our resource towards youth camps.
The atmosphere is different at camp – the expectations are different. Even first time attenders know that going to camp is like stepping into a different world. An escape from the every day.
Youth camp is like youth group on steroids, the games are bigger, the meals are next level, and the extra time allows relationships to grow deeper.
Amidst the fun, laughter and friendship, we got to witness lives change on our most recent youth camp in January.
Bonds are forged in moments of challenge – the unity of teams emerged in capture the flag, water balloon volleyball and laser tag. Friendships are formed as alliances are made (and broken) in games of tag. There is joy and confidence in being encouraged and cheered on by a group of people, of others sharing in the joy of your individual win. Connections are made as you dance around a room together, jumping and clapping in utter joy.
