About Valentines Date Night

Celebrate Valentines with an evening on the Willow Lawn, featuring live music by Reuben Koops, free onsite childcare, a low & slow BBQ dinner and romantic dessert boxes.

Sunday the 15th of February  4pm – 7pm

On the Willow Lawn at the Tailrace Centre. 

In the event of wet weather, the event will be brought inside to Jude’s Cafe (inside the Tailrace Centre).

Childcare:
We offer free onsite Childcare in Kid’s Paradise!
Our fantastic team of volunteers are here to look after your children while you enjoy your meal.
There is an optional $10 kids meal available that will be provided in the childcare.

Valentines Date Night

The Menu – $75 per adult

Off the BBQ:

  • Low and slow 12 hour cooked beef brisket, sticky smoked maple jus.
  •  Chicken satay skewers, satay sauce and crunchy toasted peanuts.
  • BBQ Lamb kebabs, marinated in garlic, lemon and oregano. Served with smoky baba ghanoush
  • Vegetable kebabs, red onion, button mushrooms, capsicum, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. Brushed with basil oil.
  • Grilled Haloumi, lemon, parsley and cracked pepper

Salads & Sides:

  • Build your own Caesar salad, crunchy croutons, Cos lettuce, creamy Caesar dressing, grilled bacon, eggs, anchovies and parmesan cheese.
  • Salad of capsicum, cucumber, Kalamata olives, Greek fetta, tomatoes and red onion. Served with lemon basil vinigrette.
  • Green leaves, spinach, endive, coral and butter lettuces, Italian style dressing.
  • Jacket potatoes, served with butter sour cream and chives.

Sweetie Boxes:

  • Creme Caramels.
  • Chocolate Dipped Strawberries.
  • Red Velvet Lamington.

Take your dessert to go or stay and enjoy the live music.

Date Night Childcare

Childcare at Date Night 

Headed up by our amazing Sharon and Alana, we have an wonderful team of volunteers who love to see couples with young children find the space and time to connect and have fun together. 

Our volunteers all have their working with vulnerable peoples check and most of them are here month in, month out so you will quickly get to know our volunteers. 

Childcare is provided in Kid’s Paradise so your children are only ever a room away. 

If you have more questions about the childcare, don’t hesitate to reach out.
